Paris Couture Week began with a feminine flourish at Donatella Versace's Autumn/Winter 2012 Couture show. The collection kicked off with a super sexy slashed Mac worn by a vamped up Lindsey Wixon. A cinched, feline silhouette was complemented with a pretty palette of pale pinks, lilacs, creams and soft metallics; a slightly softer approach than what has come to be expected from Donatella. Evening gowns followed in a range of weightless silks and chiffons. Embroidered sheers, cut-outs and thigh high splits featured heavily within the collection, all styled with gladiator-esque strapped heels and seductive smokey eyes.
