Having spent the majority of the weekend watching all of the January favourites videos that landed in my subscription box, I thought it was about time I shared the products I've been loving over the last month...
First up is my current favourite, the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob. Ever since I saw Amelia Liana post about this I knew I had to try it. It's had some seriously good reviews from some of the best beauty bloggers out there and, now that I've tried it, I completely understand why. At just £3.99 it's a gorgeous rose pink, velvety liner that's easy to apply and relatively long-lasting. Although I've embraced the lip liner trend, I'm not about to turn all Kylie on you. I've been there, done that and I'll never go there again. It wasn't pretty!
Next is the Dior Glow Maximiser, a perfect pick me up for lacklustre winter skin. I first dabbled with this light boosting primer last Spring and have recently re-purchased which means it must be good! Applied under foundation or used as a highlighter this product gives some serious glow... think Millie Macintosh. All of those dark January mornings have had me reaching for this nearly every day over the last month so it's definitely a winner for me.
In terms of skincare I rarely change up my routine, however I have recently introduced a new product that I've really enjoyed using - the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water. It dissolves make-up in an instant, unclogs pores and helps removes impurities. I've been using it morning and night for the last month or so and my skin has never felt clearer.
Another thing I've been loving this month is the MAC Brush Cleanser. Since investing in my new ZOEVA makeup brushes I've made a conscious effort to start looking after my beauty tools. The MAC Brush Cleanser leaves brushes squeaky clean without a lingering smell of alcohol. The best part is that the formula is specifically designed to help brushes dry quickly so they're ready to use almost straight away.
Last but not least is the new British Vogue app which allows subscribers to download the latest issue straight to iPhone. It has seriously enhanced my life over the last few weeks and means I don't have to worry about carrying my iPad around with me every day. Perfect!
