Marks & Spencer are slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with when it comes to premium beauty. Over the last couple of years they have seriously upped the stakes with a constantly growing portfolio of brands. The most exciting launch to date though, has to be the new Rosie for Autograph makeup collection.
For a first off collection M&S have done extremely well - there seems to be something for everyone. The packaging is stunning, both inside and out, and the products have a really premium feel considering they retail at quite a reasonable price.
After almost an hour of swatching products I eventually decided to try the Liquid Liner in 'Intense Black' and the Eyeshadow Palette in 'I Feel Like A Million Dollars' as Rosie always seems to pull off a flawless smokey eye. I've only used the palette a handful of times but I was really impressed with the quality. The eyeshadows are super pigmented but easily blendable. I'm still somewhat of a novice when it comes to applying eyeshadow but I found these really easy to work with.
The Liquid Liner is just as impressive; coming from a liquid liner addict, this says a lot! It has all fine, fibre tip which makes application easier and allows you to get that winged line in one quick sweep. The staying power is relatively good too - I'll be interested to see how long it takes me to get through it.
